CLIMB SUMMARY

Cycling Henrietta Mountain Road

Ride 1.9 miles gaining 1,035’ at 10.6% average grade.

This climb is an absolute brute.  Not only does it average 10.6%, it has several short segments over 15%.

The climb begins near the southern tip of Raystown Lake in Huntingdon County and is the largest lake entirely within the state.

Climb begins by riding north up Henrietta Mt Road from its intersection with Raystown Road.

Not sure what that’s all about - maybe icy conditions on a STEEP road.

PJAMM App showing climb gradient.

Grooves in a steep road where vehicles bottom out - circumstantial evidence of one tough climb.

That’s a wrap!!
