Cycling Passo Camplongo from Arabba

Ride 3.9 kilometers gaining 280 meters at 7.2% average grade.

This is the first of seven passes cyclists cross in the annual Mardona dles Dolomites (Dolomites Marathon).  This is heralded as one of the greatest gran fondos of all and has been closed been closed to traffic since 2004.  The race is limited to 9,000 participants and began in 1987.

The Passo Campolongo climb is to one of the lowest passes in the Dolomites at only 1,875 meters.
