Roadway: This climb is on Highway 2 (Stevens Pass Highway) which has two lanes in the climbing direction most of the route and a shoulder you can ride in. The roadway is in good condition.
Traffic: Can be light to moderate and will move at highway speeds.
Parking: For those that don't ride from Skykomish about six miles west, there is parking on the side of the road near the start of the climb - one spot is on the left just after passing Old Cascade Highway on the left just past the start of our climb (Map; Street View).
Provisions: None on the ride. There are food and beverages at Sky Gas & Grocery in Skykomish, six miles east of the climb start (Route Map).
