Tour de France 2021: Stage 9 (category 1).  Montee de Tignes makes its second appearance in the Tour de France in 2021 (first appeared 2007; was to be included in 2019, but the climb was cancelled do to poor weather conditions). 

Ben O'Connor is first to the top of Montee Tignes in the 2021 Tour de France.

Montee de Tignes was first included in the Tour de France in 2007.  It was to be featured again in 2019, but the climb to the ski resort was cancelled due to snow, hail and a mudslide.  The mountain top finish at Tignes will be included in the 2021 TdF as Stage 9 on July 4, 2021.
