The Col des Aravis has been included in the Tour de France 42 times, first in 1911 and most recently in Stage 15 of the 2023 Tour. It is the 7th most included col in TDF history.

Cycling Col des Aravis

From the South:  7.1 kilometers gaining 501 meters at 6.7%.

From the North:  7.1 kilometers (same as south), gaining 411 meters at 5.7%

 Col des Aravis is the  is the border between the French departments of Savoie and Haute-Savoie and connects the ski resort of La Clusaz to the north with La Giettaz to the south. This pass offers exceptional views, particularly at the top with a view east to Mont Blanc.
