summit opens to cars at 10am, but got their early, was able to bike without any cars. unsure what'd it be like when actually open.
steady gradient, small descent during the climb is a nice respite

Great climb, just did it on March 21,2021 a little snowy still but made it. There are three look outs on the way to the top that spot light lake George, it is majestic. The climb is fairly easy getting to this point, but once you pass the third look area you hit a 7 degree plus for the rest of the climb. Once you hit the large parking lot keep pushing on the top is just a loop that heads straight back down. Worth the trip it’s off season now the road is wide open!!!!!
