Cycling King Ridge Loop

Ride 53 miles gaining 6,500’

King Ridge is the jewel of Sonoma County Cycling.  This route begins in the quaint west county town of Cazadero and follows a route that includes all Sonoma County has to offer - rural pastureland, vineyards and the rugged Sonoma County Coast.  This ride is ranked as moderate at 53 miles and 6,500’.  

Our route includes the following West Sonoma County bike climbs:

King Ridge - THE Sonoma County bike climb and route.

Ride 16.5 miles gaining 2,600’.

Hauser Bridge - Short and sweet.

1.6 miles at 8.5%

Fort Ross Road - a little coast, a little redwoods.

2.4 miles and, yes, this is no type, 10.7% average grade.

The milder option for this route cuts out the Fort Ross Road climb (Map;  37 miles + 4,900’).
