“South Shelburne Road is an isolated climb near Greenfield, MA.  After an easy start you enter woods to find a bit more challenging grade including a right hand switchback.  Soon the grade eases, goes back up and then you find a short descent.  Climbing then resumes over gradually increasing grade through a right turn and the listed climb ends at an unmarked top just before another descent.” (This quote is provided with the approval of John Summerson from his book, The Complete Guide to Climbing (by Bike) in the Northeast, pg. 81.)
