Cycling Bish Bash East, Massachusetts
Photo: Wikipedia
“Bish Bash East is an isolated climb located in far western Massachusetts. Over a shallow start, the route quickly gets steeper and then rolls a bit as you ride through thick woods. Soon the road curves left as it follows the ridge over the steepest sustaining pedaling on the hill. You then go up and down for the remainder of the ascent. Further along views appear to the left. Beyond West Street on the right climb one more ramp up to a flat where the listed ascent ends.” (This quote provided with the approval of John Summerson from his book, The Complete Guide to Climbing (by Bike) in the Northeast, pg. 87.)
