The top 3\4 of a mile is what makes this climb challenging and worth every bead of sweat. Numerous steep switchbacks. I didn't get a great pic of them but I'm definitely going back and will take the time to get some shots. The switchbacks, stone walls, rock faces, lush forest, and view off the mountain is worth stopping for. I highly recommend giving it a go if in the area.

The best climb up Signal Mountain I believe, W Road is a solid climb up a dark route with one of the best switchbacks anywhere near the top. You can ride along the top of the mountain and there are several other climbs that will get you up Signal Mtn.
