A stunning climb. If you want a 65km-ish ride, ride from Pemberton as the flat approach road along the river is gorgeous. I have done it as part of a ride from Whistler to Lilooet as well - about 120km - a breathtaking ride with some rough road for that last 20km into Lillooet. The first 3km of the climb are really hard with solid double digit hairpins and unrelenting gradients, and then the gradient eases a little. Truly a beautiful climb. Also a wicked descent if you're into that - I hit 96kph!

THIS IS A STEEP CLIMB

BUSY AND POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS ROAD

This road does have its share of big rigs and logging trucks.

Testament to the dangers of the road.
