Cycling Zettersfeld

Ride 9.8 kilometers gaining 1,148 meters at 11.9% average grade.

This is another of number 10 of Austria’s 11 Top 100 Road Bike Climbs.  Zettersfeld is ranked #80 in the world, primarily due to its extreme gradient - it is very uniform throughout the climb, rarely exceeding 15% or dipping into single digits.  The steepest 500 meters is 15.4% and steepest continuous kilometer 14.9%. A testament to the cycling challenge in this particular region has 9 Top 100 climbs within a 50 kilometer radius. The climb is to Zetterfeld Ski Resort in the Zetterfeld winter sports area in East Tyrol.
