The best place to park is at the top. There’s a large gravel lot by the scenic viewpoint/picnic area, but it costs $3 per day - drive just a hundred yards farther back and park in the actual airport parking lot for free.

Even though this is the easiest climb in the Sedona area, we’d say it's a must do - the scenery does NOT disappoint!

The best place to park is at the top. There’s a large gravel lot by the scenic viewpoint/picnic area, but it costs $3 per day - drive just a hundred yards farther back and park in the actual airport parking lot for free.

The climb starts just off AZ 89A in downtown Sedona
