CLIMB SUMMARY

Cycling Mont Caro

Ride 18.6 kilometers gaining 1,318 at 7.1% average grade.

This is the highest mountain of the ports de Tortosa-Beseit, a limestone massif located in northeastern Spain.

This wonderful bike climb has never been included in any Grand Tour.

There are excellent views of the surrounding landscape, plains below and the Mediterranean Sea along the climb.

Cycling up Mont Caro is considered challenging due to the steep and winding roads - there is a 10.2% kilometer beginning at km 15.7 and 60% of the climb is between 5-10%.

There are 2 large antennas at the top that are visible as you approach the summit.

Thank you Ard and Lindsay.
