Climb summary by PJAMM’s Brad Butterfield.

The route follows the same road as Greenhill for the first 4.5 miles. Once you swing the right hander onto the Mt. Lofty summit road the gradient will ease slightly and there are even a few brief downhills. The thick eucalyptus trees block the views below until you reach Mt. Lofty visitor center and old fire lookout. There is a cafe up there too, and it looks to be a fairly popular tourist destination.
