INTRO

Short sweet climb, but . . . on a highway. Unfortunately, the “highway” comment is what is most noteworthy of this climb. There is a lot fast moving (too much, probably) and seemingly aggressive traffic on the route and no shoulder the entire climb. The pavement and gradients are smooth and we have some truly amazing views of the Klamath National Forest to our north – however, this does not justify the uneasiness of the busy, fast moving traffic, except for the most hardened of cyclists.
