Beautiful wide open farmland with cows and sheep along the climb. Beginning and end road surface is excellent. Along the middle portion you will encounter some pretty rough road which calls for a bumpy decent. Traffic is minimal but beware because the few cars were definitely speeding around the sharp turns with no view of oncoming traffic. The last two miles the road becomes very narrow one lane road. Once you get past the steep mile towards the beginning just enjoy the views for the rest of the climb!
