Roadway: The roadway is generally in good shape on both sides of the col. However, parts of the road surface are more coarse than other climbs in the area.
Traffic: There is very little traffic on either side of the col once you leave the villages at the start.
Parking: You can park in Seix or at the top of the col. It is also possible to ride to the base of the climb from some of the nearby villages.

Summer in the Pyrenees is normally warm and sunny, even at higher elevations. However, there are some periods of low clouds that can make the climbs quite damp. Bring warm clothes just in case. Water is available in both Seix and Les Bordes-sur-Lez.
Before heading out on any cycling adventure check out our Things to Bring on a Cycling Trip and use our interactive check list to ensure you don't forget anything.
There are places to stay near Seix and some of the smaller villages in the area. Seix also has restaurants and shops for food. St. Girons is the closest larger town.

This climb is a good challenge, but hard to reach in a more remote part of the Pyrenees.
