This isn't the hardest or longest climb but it's beautiful. I've done it over 100 times and the view never gets old and the pictures don’t do it justice. Saturday mornings are always filled with cyclists on this climb. Here is the strava segment - (Donut Ride).
There is also a fast weekly ride every Saturday morning at 8AM that goes up this climb - here is the link to that ride - Palos Verdes Peninsula: Biking LA's Stunning Palos Verdes Donut Loop.

The climb starts on PV South which has moderate traffic but there is a bike lane and the cars are accustomed to seeing many cyclists. As you are riding along the coast, the views of Trump's golf course and the various multi-million dollar mansions overlooking the ocean are spectacular. Once you turn onto PV East, the traffic is much lighter, but you'll likely be riding into headwind going westbound. As you turn onto the final 1.6 miles on Crest, there is only local traffic as it leads to a dead end. Just as you approach the top, you can get excellent views of San Pedro, Long Beach, and even Malibu on a really clear day. The views are amazing almost the entire climb with several turnouts to take pictures and enjoy the views. The sun is always shining and the pavement is excellent.
