. 2,300 feet in 7.5 miles. Below is the strava segment. It is a good way to get from Fountain Springs to Shirley Medows West or Portuguese Pass West. The pavement is good along the route and almost no cars like all the other roads around here. There is a saloon at Fountain Springs where we parked and gently rolled uphill for the first 8 miles to the start of this climb.
