Road blocked to vehicles at Sun Notch but open to bicycles to Phantom Ship Overlook, and down to Pinnacles Overlook - nice to ride with no cars !
Closed to all from Phantom Ship overlook to Skell Overlook. Park Service stated entire road - new pavement ! - should be open by October.
Enjoyable ride around the rim with lots of easy spinning ups and downs with wonderful views of the lake. Heavy traffic, narrow shoulder to ride but mostly slow and courteous drivers. Water available at the VC and lodge.
