CLIMB SUMMARY

Cycling Col du Petit Saint Bernard - The pink road

Ride 24.4 kilometers gaining 1,302 meters at 5.3% average grade.

The Col du Petit Saint-Bernard is a mountain pass in the French Alps, linking the region of Savoie in France with Aosta Valley in Italy.

The pass has significant historical importance. You'll find the hospice of Saint-Bernard at the summit, which has been welcoming travelers for centuries. There's also a stone circle, possibly from Bronze Age cultures, and numerous old military fortifications which are remnants from past wars found at or near the summit.

The climb has been featured in the TdF 5 times as of 2023 (first in 2009 and most recently 2013).

The climb finishes at the French-Italian Border.
