Cycling Col de la Croix from Bex

Ride 25.2 kilometers gaining 1,369 meters at 5.4% average grade.

This is a very consistent climb with the steepest 500 meters at 8.6% and the steepest 5 km 8.1% (steepest 5 miles 7.6%).

The beautiful and challenging climb is just south of Lake Geneva in the Valais canton, one of the greatest bike climbing areas in the world.  The climb has been featured several times in the Tour de Romandie and the Tour de Suisse.

The bike climb up to Col de la Croix gets its greatest fame from being featured 3 times in the Tour de France - 1997, 2012 and 2022.
