This is really two climbs in one. First is a peaceful meander through a forest with pleasant gradients. With about 2k to go, you see a wall up ahead to begin two of the more challenging kilometers in France to crawl to the top. If you are able to look, there are fantastic views once you rise out of the forest. The views at the top are panoramic on a clear day, with food and drinks available.
