CLIMB SUMMARY

Climb summary by PJAMM’s Brad Butterfield.

This area of Adelaide is far more rural than all of the previous climbs I have done in the area. To my eye, this is the best pocket of riding in the Adelaide. Road quality is pristine, traffic is almost non-existent - except for quite a few groups of motorcycles who also enjoy the good road quality. This area of Adelaide was first developed in the mid-1800’s and is apparently famous for its peaches, cherries, and lemons. You’ll pass quite a few homestead type farms on your way to the summit. While most of the climb is very mild gradient wise, there are a few steep pitches towards the top. This, along with every other climb in the Adelaide area -haha- is a must do.
