INTRO
This is a fun little climb to do before or after the Rose Bowl Group Ride. This is a famous and popular group ride that goes around the stadium, often frequented by top regional cyclists such as professionals from the LA-based UCI Continental Pro TEAM L39ION. The ride is open to everyone and has taken place every Tuesday and Thursday night at 6pm for the past 60 years.
Team Legion was created by brothers Justin Williams (ex Trek-Livestrong rider) and Cory Williams with the goal of increasing diversity and inclusion in cycling, and have quickly become one of the America's best cycling teams.

Pasadena is a great place to visit all year round, and the San Gabriel Mountains are debatably the best riding in Southern California. The annual Parade of Roses takes place every Jan 1st before the Rose Bowl football game. The second biggest annual parade in the country, all floats must be made entirely from flowers and live plants.
We really like the Wild Oak Cafe, right at the start of this climb.
