CLIMB SUMMARY

Cycling Pico Del Ingles

Ride 19.4 kilometers gaining 1,104 meters at 5% average grade (8% climb only).

The Canary Islands are home to some of the hardest and most scenic bike climbs in the world.  This climb on the far northeastern tip of the island is among several out-and-back climbs that are world class and worth the trip to that part Tenerife if you are on that island for some of the monster Teide climbs.

Upper left is a photo of Mount Teide in March as seen from the Mirador Pico del Ingles.

Bring lights - you will encounter tunnels along this route.

Thank you Helmuth
