First 4 miles are the hardest as you climb up and out of the valley. Good road with light traffic and slow speeds. Nothing over 9%. Visitors center with water and bathroom at 4.5 miles then very enjoyable climbing the rest of the way to the "summit". The road continues across - mostly downhill - to the east entrance with a very fun and fast 5 mile decent back to the valley. Climb back up and return to the west entrance or you can stay in the valley and ride back to complete a loop.
