Bryan Smith (6-15-24) - Yes, it is rideable on a gravel bike. Road conditions vary. The road up to Francis peak level 1, maybe 2, gravel on 1-5 scale. There are some sections up to bountiful peak that are rough jeep road (5: miserable on a gravel bike, going up and down). You wouldn’t want to do this ride without at least a shock stem. 3 of us had regular gravel bikes with ~42 tires. I rode a converted hardtail mtb with dropbars, dropper, and 2.0 Race Kings. It was, I must say, the perfect set up for this ride. (I rode it because my regular gravel rig isn’t geared low enough for the extended 10-14% sections, but it was perfect).
