"The east side of Route 16 in south central Pennsylvania is a pleasant and steady grade ascent through gentle turns. It carries a bit of traffic at times but not enough to ruin a ride. The route is along a fairly wide road and takes you through woods with a few views in places. Near the top the grade eases and the summit is unmarked but obvious. It is a quick and fun descent as well." (This quote is provided with the approval of John Summerson from his book, The Complete Guide to Climbing (by Bike), 2nd Edition, pg. 97.)
