CLIMB SUMMARY

 

“The north side of Peekamoose Road is a very scenic ride along a narrow road with little traffic.  The overall grade is quite shallow but it does include a solid section along the way.  It begins beside a creek and easy pedaling which then goes up and down.  3 miles in you find stout grade which gradually eases up to the unmarked summit.  The south side of Peekamoose is a very shallow but scenic hill.  (This quote is provided with the approval of John Summerson from his book, The Complete Guide to Climbing (by Bike) in the Northeast, pg. 136.)
