Climb Summary

Passo Pennes Penserjoch is a scenic and challenging climb 11 kilometers from the Italian/Austrian border (10 km).  Penserjoch actually gets the Northern Award as Italy’s northern most Top 100 World Climb (#97 World, #25 in Italy). The upper portion of the climb is open space for grazing cattle.  The roadway is in great shape, minal traffic and the ride felt safe.

According to our research, this climb has never been included in the Giro d’Italia.
