An extremely popular way to get from the Burbank area down to the better climbs of Malibu, like Fernwood - Tuna Canyon Road, Old Topanga Canyon Road, or Las Flores Canyon Road.

The traffic is worse than other climbs in the area, but there's a nice bike lane on this north side of the pass so we didn't find it an issue. We don't recommend riding up Topanga from the Pacific Coast Hwy, since traffic can get very heavy, however this is a popular and sometimes necessary way to get to the climbs of Malibu or Mulholland.
