We traveled to Bolivia in 2017 to ride the deadliest road in the world (Death Road) and the highest (Uturuncu).

Cycling the Death Road

Ride 62 km (39 miles) gaining 3548m (11,640’) to 4634m (15,204’)  at 5.5% average grade.

This is just one badass road!

The Death Road is the 5th hardest climb in the world.

Cycling Uturuncu, Bolivia (highest road outside of Tibbet).

Ride 17 km (10.8 miles) gaining 1409m (4,624’) to 5754m (18,877’) at 8% average grade.

From the saddle, we trekked the .4 miles 709’ at 30.8% average grade to Volcan Uturuncu Summit .
