Ride 9.7 miles to 5,830’ gaining 1,782’ at 3.2%

We ride along the edge of the national park, but only ever enter it at mile 8.2.  Home to Guadalupe Peak, Texas’s highest point, Guadalupe Mountain National Park was established in 1972 and consists of 86,367 acres, within the Guadalupe Mountain range.

This is a fairly remote climb (there’s not even a full Strava segment for it) in east central Texas, 105 miles east of El Paso and the US border with Mexico.
