CLIMB SUMMARY

Cycling Carboneras

Ride 5.7 kilometers gaining 364 meters at 6.4% average grade.

This is one of the short but great climbs at the northern end of Tenerife.  This climb is accessed by riding down to Las Carboneras then climbing back up towards the hub of the 5 Sisters of Northern Tenerife which includes (1) Bailadero (21 km gaining 1027 m at 4.4% [5.6% climb only]; add 3.7 km and 85 m gained to Mirador Ingles and back)  (2) Las Carboneras (5.7 km gaining 364 m at 6.4%), (3) Afur (6.6 km gaining 542 m at 8.1%), (4) Taganana  (5.9 km gaining 545 m at 9.4%) and (5) Chamorga (5.2 km gaining 336 m at 6.1%).  The statistics for our 5 Sisters + Mirador Ingles are 110 kilometers gaining 4,216 meters.  

The 5 Sisters of Northern Tenerife or  Park Anaga 5, is 84 kilometers gaining 2,915 meters and includes 5 exceptional and must-do climbs while you are on Tenerife, time permitting and after you do Mount Teide and Masca, of course. 👍👍
