FULL SUMMARY

Fraser River as seen from McBride Peak, British Columbia, Canada

We traveled to the wonderful country of Canada (we LOVE Canada and Canadians!) 2015 to document the top 10 Canadian bike climbs, most of which are in the Canadian Rockies, home to Banff (Highwood Pass - highest paved pass in Canada) and the incomparable Jasper (Marmot Basin) National Parks.

NUMBER 1 AND MOST DIFFICULT BIKE CLIMB IN CANADA

MCBRIDE PEAK

The climb is on dirt, but manageable on a road bike . . .

. . . while we do recommend more than 23mm, the fat boys are a bit overkill . . . 🐭 v. 🐘

NUMBER 2 AND MOST DIFFICULT BIKE CLIMB IN CANADA

APEX FROM HEDLEY

Dirt and gravel, but manageable on a road bike.

OUR FAVORITE BIKE CLIMB IN CANADA

#4 - MOUNT REVELSTOKE

Located in Revelstoke National Park

#4 Hardest Bike Climb in Canada

Gorgeous bike climb
